Osh State University : Courses & Fees

Foreign citizens are admitted to the first year on a contract (fee-paying) basis after preliminary document verification, a successful entrance assessment, a valid student visa and a signed contract with the university. Applicants may choose English as the language of instruction. Indian applicants must also hold a valid NEET qualification as required by NMC guidelines.

Intake: The university runs two intakes every year. September is the main intake and the academic year starts in September. February is a smaller secondary intake. Seats are limited and are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, so early application is advised. Under the national admission rules, first-year documents of foreign applicants are accepted within the deadline set by the Ministry of Education and Science, up to 15 October.

• Step 1: Submit the application with passport, Class 12 marksheet and valid NEET scorecard.
• Step 2: Preliminary document verification by the admissions committee and international relations department.
• Step 3: Entrance assessment (interview or online test) as per the university admission regulation.
• Step 4: Receive the admission confirmation and the invitation letter for the student visa.
• Step 5: Apply for the student visa through the official electronic visa portal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
• Step 6: Travel to Osh, submit original documents at the start of the academic year and sign the one-year tuition contract.
• Step 7: Complete enrolment, medical check, hostel allotment and student registration.

An educational document equivalent to the Kyrgyz secondary school certificate and a certificate of equivalence of the education level issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan are mandatory. Admission without this certificate is not allowed. Passport and education documents must have a notarised translation into Kyrgyz or Russian.

The university recruits international applicants only through official representatives holding a formal contract. Applicants should always ask for written proof of an agent's official status before paying any fee.
